In alignment with our commitment to social development and community growth, the Company undertook several CSR initiatives in accordance with Companies Act, 2013 during the financial year 2024–2025.

The theme for this year focused on empowering underprivileged communities through targeted support in education and healthcare infrastructure. These efforts reflect our commitment to creating long-term, sustainable impact in areas that matter most to community development and wellbeing.

Our philanthropic outreach is guided by the following focus areas -

• Eradicating hunger, poverty, and malnutrition
• Promoting health care including preventive health care (which includes CSR spend for the Covid19 pandemic) and sanitation including contribution to the Swachh Bharat Kosh set-up by the Central Government for the promotion of sanitation
• Promoting education
• Promoting gender equality
• Promoting environmental sustainability
• Protection of heritage, art and culture
• Taking up measures for the benefit of armed forces veterans, war widows and their dependents
• Training to promote rural sports, nationally recognized sports, Paralympic sports and Olympic sports
• Contribution to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund or Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES Fund) or any other fund set up by the Central Government for socio-economic development and relief and welfare of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women.

Our Annual Action Plan for FY2024-2025

Hospital Ward and Inpatient Care Center

In partnership with Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust, the project we supported aims to establish a hospital ward and inpatient care center, designed to enhance the capabilities of Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya while maintaining its distinctive identity. This facility will play a crucial role in advancing the hospital's mission of delivering accessible and high-quality eye care services to all.

As part of this proposed project, we aim to construct an additional in-patient ward, including a semi-private segment. This ward will cater to patients who desire enhanced comfort and privacy but cannot afford private or deluxe rooms. It will provide attentive in-patient medical care and treatment tailored to their needs. The project focuses on expanding in-patient facilities to meet the increasing demand for eye care services. The proposed air-cooled ward will ensure greater comfort for patients, particularly in the humid climate of Chitrakoot, without imposing any additional financial burden on them.

 Key features of the new ward:

• Capacity to serve approximately 750 patients daily.
• Nursing stations on each floor to ensure prompt treatment and care.
• Doctor’s rooms equipped with advanced ophthalmic instruments.
• Air-cooled infrastructure for comfort in Chitrakoot’s humid climate.
• A dedicated team of paramedical staff providing 24x7 care.

Expected outcomes & facilities

The expansion is expected to enhance the reach and quality of eye care services in Chitrakoot and surrounding districts. Its success will be measured through predefined outcomes, ensuring the hospital's sustainable and efficient operations.

Project Dream School

We are proud to sponsor Vishalakshi Foundation’s Project Dream School, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering over 1,000 children from deeply marginalized communities through access to quality education. Many of these children come from families of migrant laborers who face daily struggles to meet basic needs, making education seem like an unattainable dream. Project Dream School not only focuses on education but also supports children through mid-day meal schemes and the distribution of educational kits, ensuring holistic development and support.

About Vishalakshi Foundation

Founded in 2019, Vishalakshi Foundation is a non-profit organization based in India, committed to eradicating hunger and promoting literacy. Over the past four years, the Foundation has successfully served over 1 million meals and is currently operating 16 Dream School Centers across various cities. These centers provide free education to more than 2,000 children, helping create a brighter future for underprivileged communities.
