Eco-friendly with ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11
At Lenovo, we take sustainability seriously. We’ve committed to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, making us the world’s first PC and smartphone maker and one of only 139 companies with a net-zero target validated by Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
For the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11, that means low-temp soldering and 90% recycled magnesium on the C cover. We use 98% post-consumer content (PCC) recycled plastic in the speaker enclosure, 25-30% PCC recycled plastic in the battery enclosure, and 90% PCC recycled plastic in the power adapter. Packaging is entirely plastic-free.
