Cloud enablement

Cloud enablement is the process of building a highly effective cloud environment to host IT infrastructure and resources, including software, applications and workloads. Cloud enablement is done when organizations create resources for the cloud or shift on-premises resources to the cloud to improve performance and reduce cost. It’s achieved by following a cloud strategy, which defines the cloud’s functionality, architecture, development process and governance model.

Cloud enablement establishes reporting processes to ensure the cloud runs efficiently. IT resources are also evaluated to determine best-fit cloud settings.
