Darren Nix

Darren Nix has worked at Genetec for 10 years in various roles. In his current role, he leads partnership efforts and engagements with Insight. He works with cities and agencies to promote digital transformation and solutions for public safety. With more than 20 years of experience in the security industry, Darren has held positions in integration, consulting and design, with a focus in federal agencies, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and education. His specializations include solution development, threat and vulnerability assessment, asset protection and loss prevention, as well as physical security system design. Prior to joining Genetec, Darren was a senior associate consultant with Risk Management Associates, Inc. He is ASIS board certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) in security management and was the physical security subject matter expert on the “OneNASA” smart card program.
