AI generated display of virtual working environment at modern computer station

If you’re like me, you have way too many documents open on your work PC as you multitask your way through a typical workday. Fortunately, this daily whirlwind of competing priorities has become much smoother since we introduced the next generation of Intel-powered AI PCs to our Insight team several months ago.

The productive power of AI assistance at my fingertips is a priceless addition to my day. And it can be for you, too, if you’re ready to revolutionize your workplace with the latest in AI computing … we’ll even pick up the tab!

Insight, in partnership with Cisco, Dell and Intel, is holding a $35,000 AI PC Workplace Makeover Contest, a game-changing opportunity to empower your employees with on-device AI designed to help them be more organized, creative, collaborative, and efficient.

Staying ahead of the curve is a necessity to maintain a competitive edge. And, as we detailed in the latest edition of Insight’s Tech Journal, the timing to replace aging devices couldn’t be more apt as we reach a critical crossroads between the end of the pandemic-era device lifecycle and the end of life of Windows 10.

The AI PC Workplace Makeover Contest gives two grand-prize winners an instant boost to overcoming these common challenges with $25,000 worth of next-generation Intel and Dell devices. In addition, each winner also will receive a Cisco Desk Pro valued at $10,000.

Next-level productivity and security

AI and the introduction of more powerful neural processing units (NPU) are transforming the digital workplace, allowing for further integration of generative AI into applications and moving some tasks traditionally performed in the cloud to your computer.

As applications become more intelligent (and, therefore, complex), the hardware running them needs more muscle to power them. Next-gen devices respond smarter, faster, and more securely through a blend of cloud-based, client-side, and hybrid operating models.

Intel's latest Core Ultra processors, for example, feature a 3D performance hybrid architecture that fuses CPU, GPU, and NPU power, which allows for immediate language translations, shrewder data processing, and enhanced graphics and gaming experiences (not that any of us ever break out Solitaire during the day).

Similarly, Dell’s new lineup of AI PCs run at 45 trillion operations per second, the highest level of performance today. Imagine the search power of Google aimed solely at your own information — efficiently run AI-powered tools and seamless, secure task management on your device without having to rely on an internet connection or the cloud to quickly organize what you need.

Cisco's Desk Pro, powered by Webex, enhances productivity with AI-powered features like the voice-controlled Webex Assistant, facial recognition, automatic noise detection and suppression, and virtual backgrounds. The all-in-one collaboration device, featuring a 4K touch display, is an industry-leading collaboration device for desks, focus rooms, and shared spaces. It offers the latest Webex features, including cognitive collaboration capabilities, digital whiteboarding, and seamless integration with Webex Meetings, Webex App services, and third-party meeting providers.

Contest eligibility and selection

Our contest welcomes participation from any company keen to transform their business practices. Submissions will be assessed on how you tell us an AI PC upgrade will boost your organization in one of two ways.

  • Productivity and creativity: How are your current devices leaving you short of your business demands, where your employees could be doing so much more with the right tools in their hands.
  • Security enhancement: How is your organization vulnerable at your endpoints, where an aging fleet of PCs or other device factors are putting you at greater risk of a cyberattack?

For entry submission, please visit our contest page. Applications must be submitted by Oct. 31.

Good luck! A great entry can sweep away the need to juggle a million open documents on your desktop when AI could be the ultimate multitasker for you and your team.
