Shawn received a business diploma from BCIT in 1995 and then held various successful enterprise sales roles for the first 12 years of his professional career. Shawn then transitioned into Sales Leadership, and was fortunate to build and lead a sales team to unprecedented success. In 2015, Shawn received an MBA from Simon Fraser University and applied his learnings in a variety of General Management leadership roles. Shawn currently leads Insight Canada’s National Field Sales Team. Outside of Insight, Shawn enjoys time with his wife, two sons and family dog. Shawn also enjoys coaching his oldest son’s U14 soccer team.

Rich Okopien has 15+ years’ experience in the IT industry including 10+ with Insight. Rich has degrees in Operations Research, Computer Science, and Network Administration. At Insight, Rich has worked as a project manager on deployment/refresh projects for North American Fortune 500 Clients, acted as lead engineer on Canada/US enterprise multisite deployment projects, managed a team of image development engineers delivering Windows MDT/SCCM offerings, and now; as National Lab Services Manager; runs Insight’s Edmonton and Montreal Supply Chain Optimization integration centers; where we deliver national Deskside and Data Center device configuration, inventory management, and depot program solutions.
